The house stands above the bay of  Georgioupolis by the village border, some 9 kms from the beach.
During daytime there is public bus service to the beach as well as to the cities of Hania (53 kms) and Rethymnon (23 kms).
Chania airport is 57 kms away, Iraklion airport 112 kms. With respect to the National Road's winding character, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
